Financial Planning Analyst

Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the Region’s fastest growing companies at their prestigious head office reporting in to an ACA Financial Controller.

This is a highly visible role within the organisation supporting the planning process for a group with turnover in excess of £150m and on track to treble that in the next 5 years.  Responsibilities will include:-

  • Responsible for Analysing appropriate documentation
  • Supporting the production of the annual company business plan and rolling plan to deadlines,
  • Evaluate and analysis of the group business plan against budgets and targets
  • prepare company Forecasts both long and short term
  • Scenario Analysis
  • Produce long term Financial Forecasts and Models along with preparation of clear and succinct presentation material for the Executive Management team.

To be considered for this role you will be a Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with first time passes. You will have strong Analytical skills with business planning and modelling experience. Advanced Excel skills are required including a disciplined approach to spreadsheets. A strong academic background is also desirable ideally with a 2:1 degree.
