On 8^th November, Sean Morris, Director of Howarth Morris, has been invited to present at the Northern Leadership Academy Conference focusing on The Engagement & Support of Growth Businesses.

Sean was a graduate of the University of Liverpool Management School LEAD Programme in 2010 and his work at Howarth Morris through the programme led to his recognition on graduation for the outstanding growth of the business.

This has led to Sean’s invitation to the conference, presenting to a range of business and academic leaders on the experience of support and engagement for small and growing businesses.  The conference is also being attended by representatives of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, looking to assess the effect of central support for small business.

The NLAis a partnership of Lancaster University Management School Leeds University Business School, and the University of Liverpool Management School. Its partners are the three northern regional development agencies and the Government’s Northern Way initiative.

It’s working with the private, public and voluntary sectors to develop and support more and better business leaders, create a stronger entrepreneurial culture, promote leadership best practice and attract, retain and develop leadership talent.
