<p>Howarth Morris are looking for a high calibre Graduate who is interested in a career within Recruitment. Starting as a Resourcer, the successful applicant will be given a high degree of training and support to progress towards a Recruitment Consultant role within our Sale office in Manchester.</p>
<p><strong>Description</strong></p>

<p>The Graduate Resourcer / Recruitment Consultant will join our expanding HR division and will be based within our Sale office. They will be provided with training by our experienced management team to take responsibility for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Sourcing candidates for HR opportunities, utilising a range of candidate attraction techniques</li>
<li>Liaising with candidates over their job search, providing practical and helpful advice to support them</li>
<li>Researching potential employers for the HR team, analysing business information from a range of sources</li>
<li>Assisting with candidate interviews to accurately assess their skills and aspirations</li>
</ul>
<p>It is envisaged that the Graduate Resourcer will progress towards a Recruitment Consultant role at which point they will additionally get involved with:</p>
<ul>
<li>Conducting sales calls and meeting with clients to win new business.</li>
<li>Involvement in marketing activities.</li>
<li>Working towards sales and KPI&#8217;s targets to develop an extensive range of jobs for candidates.</li>
</ul>
<p>Starting salary will be circa £15K with the opportunity to earn monthly commission, rising upon progression to Recruitment Consultant (expected time frame of 6 &#8211; 9 months).</p>

<p><strong>Description</strong></p>
<p>An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a HR Assistant to join a well-established service based company situated near Warrington.</p>
<p>This role offers the potential for development for the right candidate, including the possibility of study support for the CPP/CIPD qualification.</p>
<p>The main duties and responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Assisting with HR Administration including processing starters and leavers, creating contracts and HR letters</li>
<li>Assisting with payroll processing including liaising with the company&#8217;s payroll department to ensure accurate and timely passing of payroll information</li>
<li>Production of HR reports using Excel</li>
<li>Generalist HR admin duties where required</li>
</ul>
<p>In order to be successful within this role, it is essential that you have very strong MS Excel skills, along with a &#8216;can-do&#8217; attitude, and the ability to work well both as part of a team, and under pressure. Excellent organisation skills are also essential.</p>

<p>Howarth Morris Human Resources are recruiting for an experienced HR Manager on behalf of a national Distribution business. The business have recently restructured their HR function following a period of change across the organisation and require a business focussed HR Manager to take responsibility for sites across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds. The role will be based in Manchester but will require regular travel between the other sites.</p>
<p>This rewarding opportunity will take responsibility for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provision of HR generalist support across multiple sites, supporting departmental managers with people issues as they arise.</li>
<li>Leading and resolving grievance and disciplinary issues ensuring the group policy is adhered to in full.</li>
<li>Provision of leadership training to departmental managers.</li>
<li>Fostering good working relationships with onsite unions.</li>
<li>Management of HR support on an outsourced basis to depot staff employed by third parties, ensuring SLA&#8217;s are adhered too.</li>
<li>Supporting various ongoing HR projects including personal responsibility for reviewing recruitment processes and procedures with the aim of substantially reducing recruitment spend.</li>

<p>The HR Manager will have substantial experience of providing HR Generalist support to multi-sited entities &#8211; if this is gained within the Logistics / Distribution sector, that would be a distinct advantage. They will also be able to demonstrate significant examples of adding value to organisations and project management skills. The ability to liaise with people at all levels within an organisation, including senior management is critical. <p>Reporting to the HR Manager, your duties will include:</p>

<li>Recruitment and selection responsibility including maintenance of effective agreements with agencies</li>

An interesting role which will include the management of several ongoing HR related projects, the HR Manager will have a handover period of circa 2 months supporting the current incumbent, before taking responsibility for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Providing professional advice and guidance on all employee relations issues to the Board / Managers, including: disciplinary, grievance, absence, communication and performance management.</li>
<li>To co-ordinate, support and advise managers on all HR policies and procedures and related issues.</li>
<li>Provision of comprehensive HR Management Information to the Board / Senior Management team.</li>
<li>Overseeing the recruitment process providing advice and support to Managers and assisting with the interview process.</li>
<li>Management of a small HR team including mentoring and training.</li>
<li>Responsibility for several ongoing HR related projects. These projects will include; Upgrading the Peoplesoft system, managing changes in the companies Pension Scheme and providing support and advice to management as part of a broader Organisational Structure review.</li>
<li>Various additional ad hoc duties.</li>
</ul>
<p>The HR Manager position will suit a CIPD Qualified HR Generalist with experience of supporting all areas of a business. HR Managers / Consultants with a track record of contracting will be of particular interest. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for the role, as is the ability to suggest innovative solutions to challenges. Due to the system upgrade which will be taking place, knowledge of Peoplesoft is a pre requisite as is experience of managing Pension Scheme changes.</p>
